Sunday School is BACK FULLY OPERATIONAL! After a year of safe distancing and very marginal use of the educational building, we have decided to return to our normal 9:45AM Sunday School schedule.

We have Men's Sunday School, Ladies Sunday School, and Children's Sunday School too, in fact the only thing missing from our Sunday School is YOU.

Bring your family and come to Sunday School at 9:45AM  and Morning Worship 10:45AM.

Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19/Coronavirus, steps are being made to avoid increasing the possibility for the spread of infection. Sunday morning worship is at 11:00 at the church.  Practice social distancing, wearing a mask is optional. Currently we are not offering in person Wednesday Evening Services until January.

If you chose not to come to the church building -The pastor's messages will be shared on Facebook LIVE at fbchutchins. Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services are posted there. Church announcement will also be posted on Facebook and on Scott Chadwick's personal Facebook page.

Tithes and offerings are accepted in the offering plates at the back doors, or can be mailed to the church at P. O. Box 455, Hutchins, TX 75141.  Another option is from this site home page - choose the GIVE ONLINE  link.

We ask that if you attend our services either as a guest or a member that you first be aware of your own health, please do not attend if you are experiencing any of the COVID-19 symptoms or are knowingly ill. If you attend you are doing so at your own risk since we as a congregation cannot monitor the health of every person that enters the buildings.

Mask by state law, are not required in church gatherings and worship assemblies, however, we ask if you do not wear a mask, that you maintain a six foot social distance from any of the other attendees at all times. COVID-19 is deadly and those who are most susceptible are the elderly, and those who have preexisting health issues, this makes up the majority of our membership, so we are asking that you take personal responsibility and use caution when socializing in groups.

Childcare is not being provided at this time during any service.

Please be considerate of those that share with you a love for Christ Jesus and the desire to take part in worship services, give them their personal space and avoid any undesired social interaction.

With faith, love, and a little understanding we will get through this season and be restored to full strength.

By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:

The message could not be clearer, "You are Loved". God demonstrates his love for us in this; while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. We demonstrate our love for God when we love one another and exemplify his love to the world. First Baptist Church is the place where LOVE lives, and we want to welcome you and your family to join with us as we worship the One we love! Jesus.

Outreach Mission Projects

First Baptist Church members are involved in a variety of ongoing outreach mission projects in the community of Hutchins. Some of these outreach opportunities happen weekly, while others are monthly, and others once a year, but the intention is to be in our community sharing Jesus with everyone by being involved in their lives.

Randall and Wanda Tuley years ago, established the outreach ministry to our Police Department, during National Police Week. It's a once a year ministry where Mr. Tuley had collected funds and gifts from local businesses in a door to door campaign for the purpose of lavishing on our Police Officers once a year a special week of appreciation. During that week meals were prepared and delivered for every shift including homemade deserts. Gift bags were presented to every Officer on our force with everything from free car wash tokens to gift cards. Blue light bulbs were placed in porch lights blue ribbons were hung on mailboxes and porch railings of homes across our community to show respect and love for our Police Department.  Randall Tuley the founder of this outreach has recently passed away, but the work he initiated will continue year in and year out as we honor our Police in the City of Hutchins. This is a yearly outreach but funds are accepted and collected for this project throughout the year.

This ministry extends to the Hutchins Fire Rescue every October.

Deacon Huell Gilliam has founded the Saturation Station as one of our community outreach projects. Every month Huell collects funds from church members to use to purchase cases of bottled water for both our Fire Department and our Police Department to use throughout the month as they protect and serve the city of Hutchins. We provide 60-80 cases of bottle water every month to these public servants. If you'd like to contribute designate funds to the Saturation Station ministry.

Firefighter Bible Study is a monthly outreach ministry where several church members meet offer a meal and a message to our local Fire Department. We are fortunate to be invited into the Fire Station to minister to our Firefighters and EMT's on a personal level, we recognize that their occupations are among the most stress filled occupations in the world. Firefighters have very unique lives where they are away from their families two or three days a week and during those days, they often see a variety of traumatic even life altering events. We consider it a privilege and an honor to share Jesus and pray for those that are entrusted with so much. If you'd like to be involved, prayer for our Firefighters and EMT's is a way to start.

Thursday Bible Study - Peggy Chadwick prepares lunch for the Bible Study that her husband, Pastor Scott, conducts at Freedom Chevy Buick GMC. It's a ministry that began where his bi-vocation allowed for the opportunity. Through the seven years this ministry has operated, countless lives have been touched as church members, customers, and employees of the dealership have gathered to hear the Bible taught line upon line, precept upon precept. It's always interesting to try and determine how many mouths Peggy will be feeding, sometimes fifteen to twenty people gather to hear the Word in a car dealership.
