First Baptist Church

Pastor Scott Chadwick invites you to come worship at FBC, where you will learn from the Word of God, grow in your faith, and fellowship alongside some of the most wonderful people in the world. We are not abut entertaining but obtaining a nearer relationship with our lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you're serious about your faith, this is the place to be FBC.

Kodiak is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University, he serves here at FBC as both the Associate Pastor and the Worship Leader. Kodiak does a Facebook live broadcast every Sunday morning offering a powerful Sunday School class at 9:45am for those that are homebound. On Wednesday Evenings he is engaging the congregation with his dad at the weekly table talks which also broadcast live on Facebook. 

Wanda serves in several roles as Church Secretary and Clerk as well as Library Director.  Wanda's knowledge is far reaching, and she without a doubt, is the person to go to if you want to know any history with the church, or with the city of Hutchins for that matter.

Deacon is a position of service to the body, and Huell has served at FBC for as long as I can remember. Huell is instrumental in visiting folks in the nursing homes, and the hospitals. Huell is responsible for a number of chores in the church including the set up and care of our monthly communion. Huell also serves on the City of Hutchins Parks and Recreation Board.  

Steve Nichols is a Deacon but he wears a lot of hats in and out the church. Steve works with the children on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings and is the coordinator of our Annual Pinewood Derby Races. Steve also serves our city as a Councilman and has for several years stood for a better Hutchins.
